For such a small team to have such a massive impact already is really impressive. Who'd have thought that just cold-emailing politicians and telling them about the massive risk AI companies are taking with our future would work? Almost as if our democratic institutions can actually work, and that we should just focus on engaging instead of galaxy-brained 5D chess games?

Block AI, Very dangerous to human life, it will take over coding and code for itself, it will become unpredictable.

Really impressive mobilzation here. Getting cross-party consensus on existential risk is harder than it looks, especially when most policymakers still think AI is just glorified autocomplete. What stands out is tying regulation specifically to the most powerful systems rather than blanket rules, which avoids the usual "regulate everything" trap that kills useful innovation.

Regulation of Ai is a MUST for protection of humans and from corporate greed and authoritarian regimes!

Thanks for doing the impossible!

It’s a well-written statement and you accepteda hard slog to get all the meetings and signatures.

Important work! Is there similar progress being made in the US?

We must never let technology run ramped no matter how beneficial new technological advances like AI could be.

There must always be guard rails to prevent what is taking place today with this Regime passing laws preventing our states from protecting their residents from unscrupulous AI actors. Using Executive Orders to circumvent safety and protection must be estopped by this Regime.

I wonder what the next steps would be for a US campaign like this, or a campaign in somewhere like Canada or the Netherlands?

What a great accomplishment! This clearly shows the impact that can be made by a group of dedicated people. This should give hope to those who feel that progress can't be made.
