AI is moving way to fast, it’s dangerous and doesn’t have a heart of human beings, people need to stop the manipulations of these rich people from making way to much money and these AI plants are so bad for the earth!
Excellent compilation of the 'Software Timelines.' It is fascinating to contrast these predictions (Musk/Altman predicting 2026) with the 'Hardware Timelines' I track.
Yesterday, TSMC’s CEO C.C. Wei explicitly stated that advanced chip supply is physically constrained until 2028/2029. Combine that with the 60-week lead times for high-voltage transformers on the US grid, and you realize we are hitting a hard physical wall.
While everyone looks to Congress for AI regulation, the ultimate regulator right now is Physics. You can't code your way around a copper shortage or a foundry backlog.
I track these physical bottlenecks at The Sovereign Pillar. The 'AI Explosion' is going to be a lot slower than the software CEOs think simply because the atoms can't move as fast as the bits.
AI development has certainly been the focus of much UK Government attention since start of new year, with Emergency legislation now in process of being rolled out to control its use, and misuse by bad actors, Including threats to ban X altogether in UK.
It is a very fluid and fast moving situation in this country at present, and Musk is making the usual, predictable threats to UK, along with comment's about 'Censorship' in UK.
This is all being widely publicised on mainstream news channels and in press, raising general public awareness of threat that AI poses at a rapid rate.
It remains to be seen if that awareness by both Government and public has come in time to deal with those threats.
Im always amazed how they tell they do not know whst they doing and, if they need to make a guess, it gona be a horrible thibg, like human extinction, and they continuously pursuing the goal. What the heck?!
That's no way i can negate some conspiracy theories whit this kind of behavior. They are all nuts.
And, seems to me, the only real purpose of the AGI, is to make war, first with other countries, then against humanity itself.
I think it's fearmongering. Trying to stun people into doing nothing and accepting the fate of humanity. Which I don't think will happen because we'd get pissed off and all hell would break loose before AI advances to a point where we don't have jobs, or, we get the "I have no mouth but I must scream" type ending.
I like AI, but I despise the people and companies progressing the technology. I'm so confused about what they are trying to accomplish. It seems like they are only doing it to prove something, but what is it? how would this benefit anyone?
As far as im concerned AI should be switched off, it is being used or abused by idiots which should be closly watched in order to prevvent such garbage. Switching off completely is the best thing to do but i understand that now its been allowed to even exist its out of hand. All i can say is that i will avoid it as much as possible.
Total crap, & the so called "good" version is probably doing people out of work, is this a good idea??
