Thank you for providing an understandable way for us to help. For those of us who know little to nothing about technology in general and AI in particular, you are a blessing.

With how the government regulated vaccines, I have no faith that the government will effectively regulate AI.

If AI is as bad as it is on my computer, we are in trouble. So far it is good with correcting my spelling.

Can't they just pull the plug on a rogue AI machine?

This Act contains a much broader problem. I would venture to say that it would extremely rare that Hawley and Blumenthal would agree about anything. (That, in itself, contains a problem.) But the fact that they did in this case means they (personally) agree with each other about AI. It would be a shocking thing if it turned out that most people in Missouri agreed with most people in CT, so the Senators' votes represent their own personal opinions, and do not reflect the opinions of the people who are supposed to be their constituents. And that's a big problem.
