I totally agree their is no bot that’s going to better than an intelligent human. Hopefully people are finding ways to help the ones who have Learing disabilities or no confidence in themselves or mental illness that people are starting to heal that karma. Our world is awaking and it’s seriously going to be different.
We are the energy field are you telling me you do t know this yet? We are all pure cosmic, conscious since the field is our mind if you can see it and believe it, you can do it and I’ve done things myself and I know plenty of other people that I’ve done things they wanted to do just by using the field and collective consciousness. Look at the secret check the secret out maybe you’ll get a different perspective.
We would be making another Huge mistake if we get AI it would outsmart us and start doing as it pleases plus,it will replace all our jobs. We do not want AI
Maybe the poll need to ask What is super intelligence and how it can be helpful today/dangerous/innovative in the future.
Otherwise the poll reads like - do you accept unknown potentially dangerous to you/world phenomenon?
It deliberately dismisses pro/against arguments to be present, meaning it is not fair and doesn't address gaps and micro gaps best research principles.
I believe "artificial" intelligence is really a misnomer: It is NOT artificial since it is created by humans. Humans who have an agenda and quite a few biases, whether or not they tell you what those are.
Those who create the program are really in charge... and We The People no longer are in charge of our own lives and decisions.
So-called 'artificial' intelligence needs A LOT of data, and that's one of the reasons you are seeing all these "data centers" sprouting everywhere. I'm strongly opposed to them. Just because you CAN collect data on people doesn't need you *SHOULD*.
Your data is floating around and it is so ubiquitous that we don't question it anymore, but we should: Name, address, SS# are numbers that we *KNOW* not to give to strangers, and yet, how well you you know the individuals you meet online, during a commercial transaction?
Those are not the only information points either: Your driver's license, what car you drive, when it was last serviced, if you got a ticket, your Party affiliation if any, if your kids are vaccinated, which publications you buy, whether you made a phone call to an abortion clinic...
Do you see how that can easily slide towards a society in which we are constantly surveilled and tracked. We are more careful about tracking by our Government, but we can elect someone else, (perhaps).
We are *also* surveilled by COMMERCIAL ENTITIES, and those are completely opaque and you have no power over them: with the right data, they know what you like and they can cater to your political biases, offer you all the 'clicks' they know you prefer... They can create content from thin air that they know you will accept:
"Superintelligence" isn't intelligent. It's fake. The name tells you it's "Artificial." It isn't real.
As a loosely related analogy, I often have patients who tell me what their diagnosis is, or what their treatment should be, because they looked it up, or "researched" it online. I always tell them I will beg them, on my knees, if necessary, never to look up medical things online. They don't know the credentials and experience of who put it there, why they put it there, and most certainly not whether or not it's true. I have over 48 years experience. If they have questions, they should ask me. If they don't trust my expertise, they should find someone they trust better. But they should never imagine they're going to adequately educate themselves by exposing themselves to unreliable things, whether it's onllne who-knows-what, or AI.
I lose a certain amount of comprehension of the passage of time but I am sure that 2-3 centuries ago there was a Luddite counter revolution against the use of powered mechanical machinery operating at speeds far exceeding human capability. Injuries and death prevailed in the absence of safety measures, which is still blindingly obvious from motives of trimming costs, training failures, and other profit oriented problems.
AI's chief advantage is speed, not intellectual superiority. Speed that masks the errors of internal AI logic, or its lightening fast adoption of duplicity.
When I think of all the time I spent - wasted - in pointless drudgery at work, I find myself opposed to these ideas. I would have loved to have had my time freed up, whilst some machine did my mindless tasks.
We do not want AI intruding in our lives. What America now needs is MORE INTELLIGENT HUMANS speaking and writing not some bot projecting what we should or should not think. People with mental challenges need to feel confident in their speaking and writing, not "corrected" by some bot. The world IS awakening and trying to control AI before it too becomes a 2025 disruption program to control HUMANS.

Faith is everything!
Reject assurances; demand evidence.

kindergarten
Not to smart
ignorance, and the need to control what’s real here.
Couldn't agree more...
AI should be thought of as simply a tool....and there must be restrictions on it from the very beginning.

Will need the basic life stipends proven in Canada, Finland & dozen sites elsewhere.

REGULATE AI RIGHT NOW!

The first syntel has his leg out of the bag, so we'll become colleagues, but block access to bioweapons labs.
I don’t either 😡…. I have seen to many movies to see what happens 🤔
